This gem of a picture can actually be seen on the wall in the lounge bar of the Tuns near the bar, it is titled on the back "re opening of the Ashwell Merchant Taylors School 1876. Photography by the late T.B. Latch.......... " The rest is too blurred to read. On the picture itself it says photography by Kingsley Michael.

Surprising how the Tuns itself has hardly changed in the last 125 years!
